Change bearings in thrust&lift system.
OK, so i don't get to work on the hovercraft that often, yet to operate it, but i guess that's how the life goes. It has been more than a month when i discoverd that i need to change bearings in the thrust&lift system.
After closer inspection not all bearings were toast; it was mostly aft bearings on the lift system that needed immediate attention, but i did change majority of them since aligning the belts i tedious task and not something i want to exercise often. Only bearing aft of the engine remains since there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, apart from cosmetic flaws.
Didn't get to go to test drive, but i did run engine after belts were installed but no lift fans or thrust prop. |
